Seriously! It's been raining so much here! One year ago Georgia was in a really bad drought and there was worries about how the lakes were going to dry up within a few months. Now a year later, the drought is gone, and this year's rainfall amount has a surplus instead of a deficit. It's amazing what a few weeks of constant rain can do. All of this rain has contributed to some major flooding in some areas too. The creek in my backyard almost flooded my basement. It just missed it by inches, so to say I'm lucky and dodged a bullet would be an understatement. I should of taken a picture of it just to show how high it was.

The weather here in Georgia has been so unpredictable lately. One minute it's raining, the next minute it's sunny, then it's suddenly cold and then back to being warm again. It's been so unusual for this year, and at this rate, I won't be surprised if it does snow here this winter.

I wanted to get some good fall foliage photos, but because of how the weather has been affecting things, I may not get much. The colors has been very sporadic and not widespread like it usually is, and it's just starting to come out in other areas. Hopefully it'll be more widespread within the next week or so since the leaves really don't start falling here until November.
