I've been meaning to write about this, but never got around it. Anyway, I found out recently that my old daycare that I went to for 11 years of my childhood has closed down. When I recently passed it, I noticed that the sign was blank, and the building was boarded up.

This impacts me, because it was a big part of my childhood, and I have many memories of that place. I remember it was first called Daybridge Learning Center, then Children's World Learning Center for many years, and then it was called Kindercare for a short time. I'm not sure what's going to happen to the building now, but I wish I knew what happened to cause it to close down.

If you asked me to describe the building and what it's like inside, including the outside playground, I could describe it pretty well since I still remember what the majority of it looked like.

It would be a real shame the building was torn down, because I feel like a piece of childhood would be taken away. I know it may sound strange since I don't go there anymore, but still.

I wish I could go there just one more time and take some pictures both outside and inside for memory purposes. Thankfully I have some pictures in the photo album, but it'd be nice just to get one last look at the place.
